NZICT recently joined the World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA).
On July 27 2009, the Auckland ICT joined the NZICT Group as a Community of Interest.
The purpose is to enable Auckland ICT and the NZICT Group to work together to develop the ICT industry and its participants, with the goal to enhance the country’s competitiveness for the betterment of all New Zealanders, and the growth of the ICT industry.

Welcome to the NZICT Wireless Forum. Our goal is to support and facilitate economic growth in New Zealand through wireless and broadband innovation. We undertake this in three ways, by supporting:
In fact, we have numerous examples of innovative ideas that have been conceived at a Wireless Wednesday event, and are now in the global market as a commercial product or service.
We also link to New Zealand Trade and Enterprise to support the internationalisation of innovations conceived by our members, and to integrate with their programmes that support the creation and growth of New Zealand technology companies.
This event is designed to provide a space to show case New Zealand’s innovation, facilitate the conversation between industry, research and education in Wireless and Broadband technologies, and provide a platform for multinational technology vendors to show case the latest and emerging technologies in New Zealand.
The Wireless Forum has been established in the spirit of mutual co-operation so that parties interested in learning, solution development, collaboration and networking are able to share information within both the New Zealand and global economy. Our members include:
