Planet2010 - Communications & Technology Conference

March 12, 2010toMarch 13, 2010

In a relatively short time, personal computers, mobile phones, wireless networks and online business and entertainment have become a part of day-to-day life.

The inaugural Planet Communications and Technology Conference has been created to help New Zealand companies find out how to transform their business through new technology.

It’s all happening in Auckland on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th March 2010.

Day One is designed solely for a business audience. There’ll be exciting exhibits from companies including: TVNZ, Vodafone, Telecom, HP, Nokia and many more. Attendees can also catch inspiring presentations using tracks that allow them to tailor the conference to their interests. Tracks will be: corporate, rural industry, education, small and medium business, and consumer.

Day Two will cater to a general audience with entertainment, interactive exhibitions and a showcase of the hottest end user products and innovations.

In keeping with the innovative spirit of Planet 2010, we’re honoured to have Buzz Aldrin as our special keynote speaker. Buzz became famous when the largest TV viewing audience in history - an estimated 600 million people - watched him and Neil Armstrong land on the Moon in July 1969.
